I am so done with it!

Jim and his brother are trying to dig us out of this mess.

Jim & Tracy knee deep in snow

It is apparently not going well at all.  We have 4x4 vehicles and a skid steer.  You would think nothing would stop us!  Apparently the skid steer is stranded on a sheet of ice somehow or other.  I haven’t gotten the complete skinny on that.  The truck is at the bottom of the drive and isn’t too inclined to make the trip back up.  Not  good!

It’ll be a day or two before the grands will be sliding down this slide again.

House with snow up to the porch

Where’d my steps go?!?!

I never heard how much snow we officially got.  My guess is 20 or more inches.  Officially:  too much!

The drive way somewhere under all the snow

I’m petty sure this is the driveway.

090I sent out a stash of these fresh baked, warm out of the oven, home made refrigerator rolls to fuel their sagging spirits.

It didn’t work.  Jim just informed me that we are officially snowed in.  Help!

At least I have plenty of feed for my birdies.

That's a lot of snow. Loved the pics...even if it's a "mess".

We didn't get the 10 inches of snow they called for here, but we got enough. I never measured it but I would estimate 4 inches on top of what we already had. Last night we got sleet on top of it. We had a sheet of ice all over the place this morning, and still do in places where the sun hasn't found. The wind is ripping now, too.

By the way, your pictures of the birdies are great!

You do sure look snowed in! What a lot of work!! Don't you wish the snow would fall everywhere else but on the roads, driveways, Parking lots and sidewalks? ;)

The hot-out-of-the-oven rolls would definitely have cheered me up. :)

We only got 11 inches of the 20 they were predicting for us here north of St Louis. We just got out today...a neighbors brother was kind enough to plow our street...
Good luck...looks like you might get out sometime this spring..

Beautiful pictures! But yes, I agree, this is too much snow! We got about 17 inches here.

Don't feed those rolls to the birds. I'll take them. Bring them over. Wait, you're snowed in....
We got to Wardsville for gas for the tractor today. Roads were patchy.
looks like I am reporting to work at 8 Am tomorrow.
I can't believe you couldn't bribe those two nice butts I mean guys with hot rolls.
Stay safe.

You beat us at 10 inches but I hate it whether it is 2 or 30 inches. I hate snow and I am a whiner. My hubby got his turn in the ditch today. In my Suburban. sigh

Seeing your images of the snow reminds me not to whine the next time it rains here on the coast. At least you don't have to shovel rain!

Oy! Just looking at all the snow makes my arms and back ache!

Is there really a driveway under all that white stuff?!?!? I hope you get it cleared away enough 'to get out' today!

I love that super bright red cardinal!! I bet we are all looking for Robins now though! :)

Well, at least you're warm and well fed, can feed the birds, and know that eventually the snow will melt.

Good Morning Deanna! We got 11 inches with a very nice layer of ice under that. CH tried digging us out yesterday, got one vehicle out of the garage, moved 6 feet and got stuck. I am done with it too. I am cooked. I have had it. Our little birdies are eating well too! Those rolls look wonderful, pass the butter!

Those birds are beautiful. If you have to be stuck at least you had something pretty to look at. I'm sorry you are snowed in.

I think the new (if you trust that sort of thing ) said 18 inches in Jefferson City. Columbia got 20 inches. So I am guessing you are about right on the amount of snow. I wish we could make it out there to help you all dig yourselves out. We could have started at the bottom of the drive and you all at the top and met in the middle lol. It looks like your birdies are happy though.
