that was a lovely tribute for your mother, Deanna. A beautiful woman she was! Which child were you in the picture of the three by her on the couch?

I think the longer time our moms are gone, the more we miss them and the more we think about them. My mom would have been 90 back in May; think of her so much and miss her so much.

I hope you are well and enjoying summer

Betty, I am the youngest of the two girls - you know, the cute one *wink, wink*. You are right about missing them more as time goes on. I didn't think it possible.

Hugs Karl. I know you do.

TY Jeannie. I am very blessed to have been born in the family God gave me.

AK, thank you. She was an amazing woman and after spending 6 hours or more scanning and cropping photos over the past few days, I haven't even scraped the bottom of the barrell!

Hugs back to you Junyah. I know you do.

Babe, I didn't mean to make you cry, but knew the picture of Travis with Grandma would do that. It is a special one. They did have a strong bond. Love you too!

Tears here to Deanna. For you and for me. My Mom's birthday was July 19th, she would have been 94. She died August 15, 1987. What a lovely tribute to your Mom. It gave me comfort and some smiles too. Thank you. So nice to see your Mom. "I love and miss you Mom. You are always on My Mind." Me too Deanna. Me too. Just a very sweet post this morning.

A beautiful tribute, Deanna. Our moms are so precious to us and no matter how old we are we always miss them. I was just thinking of mine yesterday and picturing her smile. It's kind of strange that I'm older than her since she was 59 when she died in '77 and I'm now 65. She would be 93 now. Hugs to you.

Way to make me cry, Mom! It was beautiful and The longer she is gone the more I realize what a complex woman she was. I don't think I ever "knew" Grandma well. She kept herself from me. Sad, but true. Seeing the pictures and talking to you about her and her life really helps. I came across some letters she wrote me when I was in college. The selfish brat I was then probably didn't seem to care. But I did save them and now I am so glad I did. She did care - just didn't know how to tell me except through her wit in a letter. I will treasure them always. Thanks for making the photo montage.

Tessa, Grandma loved you very much. She was a very insecure but yet proud woman. What a combination. She was difficult for me to understand and I'm not sure I ever did. That is probably one of the reasons I feel guilt - that maybe I didn't care enough. I think she found you more than she could handle with your strong personality and mind. Just always remember - she loved you - as do I!

There are so many of us missing our Moms. Yours was a lovely tribute to her. How pretty she was.

Mine will be gone 5 years in September. She would have been 81 un June. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

We don't get over it. We find a way to get through it. I'm sending a hug too, my my heart to yours, for our Moms. We were the lucky ones to have them.

This is why I am so incredibly fond of you Punkn...

Such a beautiful tribute.

Your mom was a slender little bitty thing (and your dad was too) and it seems like they couldn't have possibly had room "in there" for their large warm hearts... you can see from her smile she enjoyed being alive - and with the folks in the picture with her...

*Hugs* such a precious memorial.
