Thank you

veterans day

Today we honor those who fight for our freedom.  Please take a moment to thank a Veteran for all they have done for you.  And bow your head in memory of those who have gone before us.

Thank you dads – both mine and Jim’s.

*Salutes Deanna's and Jim's fathers*

It seems too little to just say "Thank you" but Thank you very much.

I sit with tears in my eyes on Veteran's Day as I look at my husband and what he experienced in Viet Nam as an 18 year old. Thank you is never ever enough for our veterans as well as those currently serving. I too say thank you... but it's simply not enough.

Hugs to your veterans as well!

Great post! Thank you to your Dads from us too!!

My heart is with the dead and wounded from Fort Hood today. Also for all the military families stationed there. Just because the even is over doesn't mean they still aren't shaken. It's a really tragic incident.

I sent a letter to some of the guys i severed with on the the USS MIlwaukee AOR-2 and they all seem to like the idera of that IF you are a Veteran and you have a job, that you should have the chioce of either working that day for double your pay or to have it off and get paid 8 hr's regular pay. I called my State Senator on this and she too thought it was a good idera. lets see how far this goes. Thanks for your surport all.. JR
