“On Saturday, March 19th, a full Moon of rare size and beauty will rise in the east at sunset. It's a super "perigee moon"--the biggest in almost 20 years.”The photo and the information came from Nasa's website.
Thank you The Farmer's Daughter for tipping me off about this phenomenon.

I hope we can see it peek through the clouds! Would make for some awesome pictures - that is, if I could ever figure out how to get a good pic of the moon.. lol. Enjoy your weekend, Deanna!

I heard about this too; I'm looking forward to seeing it and hoping the storm that is coming in will delay itself just a bit so our skies will be clear :)
enjoy your weekend Deanna!

You're welcome, Deanna. Here's hoping the clouds stay away and we get to see the moon tonight! Have a great day.
Cool! I'll have to look for that tonight. If it's not raining. I think it's supposed to rain here.
Darn. Cloudy as can be up here all day. I'll try. :)
We've been overcast here all day, but there's supposed to be a break in the cloud cover sometime tonight. Our local weatherman has been telling us about this particular moon the past couple of nights, so I hope I'll be able to see it. *gets her camcorder ready*
Oh dear... you got mooned!!
