Perigee Moon

“On Saturday, March 19th, a full Moon of rare size and beauty will rise in the east at sunset. It's a super "perigee moon"--the biggest in almost 20 years.”
The Moon Illusion
The photo and the information came from Nasa's website.
You’d better believe my eyes will be turned to the skies at sunset tonight.
Thank you The Farmer's Daughter for tipping me off about this phenomenon.

I hope we can see it peek through the clouds! Would make for some awesome pictures - that is, if I could ever figure out how to get a good pic of the moon.. lol. Enjoy your weekend, Deanna!

I heard about this too; I'm looking forward to seeing it and hoping the storm that is coming in will delay itself just a bit so our skies will be clear :)

enjoy your weekend Deanna!

You're welcome, Deanna. Here's hoping the clouds stay away and we get to see the moon tonight! Have a great day.

Cool! I'll have to look for that tonight. If it's not raining. I think it's supposed to rain here.

We've been overcast here all day, but there's supposed to be a break in the cloud cover sometime tonight. Our local weatherman has been telling us about this particular moon the past couple of nights, so I hope I'll be able to see it. *gets her camcorder ready*
