For this barn charm, we traveled the country roads in and around Osage Bend, the stomping grounds of my friend, Patti, at Osage Bluff Quilter. We waved as we zoomed past her driveway, but I don't think she saw us.
As I hang out of the car window, hanging on tightly to my trusty camera, I sometimes a bit conspicuous and trespassing where I am not exactly wanted. Aren't these guys beauties? They don't look particularly happy to see me, though.
This farmstead is just beautiful. I couldn't get close enough to get details, but with this many buildings, along with the fence, feeder, and hay bales, who needs a close up glamor shot? I think it is perfect just the way it is. What do you think?
I still have the feeling something is watching me...

No, I'd say those cattle don't look thrilled to see you - where you eating cheese or something in front of them? I wonder what goes on in their heads... I've heard they aren't the brightest of critters.

I love that barn scene. I am really going to go out and look in the next few weeks when I have some time off to see if we have barns here; I just don't think we do.

Cute pictures. Unfortunately, most of the barns around me that I can see from major roads are all dilapidated and abandoned.
I've heard cows are not very smart, so I think it's curiosity of the strange creatures that ride in fast moving objects watching them (and occasionally trying to moo).
Good Morning Deanna! Just from my experience, with cows there is no in-between. They come up to the fence all interested because they are bored bored bored or they give you the stink eye and take off. I think this bunch found you interesting! Love your charming barn, it looks so typically MissouREE! The round bales and the touch of orange accent paint just make it all the more charming. Enjoy your Wednesday Deanna! I can't sleep!! Again.

The barn closest in that shot reminds me of ours. Very weathered. lol I think we need some red pillars on ours! Nice shots. Love the line of cattle. lol
