I received this in an email just moments ago and just had to share. My eyes sprung leaks when I heard the opening note. It is so beautiful. I'm sure it caused a bit more emotion than usual because it took me back in time when our daughter, Julie, played the violin in school. Oh so pretty. I cried at every performance.
So this one is for you Julie. Love you.

So beautiful! It's funny...my son and I were listening to music over the holiday weekend and talking about different artists and songs. Elvis' name came up and I said that one of my favorite songs he sang was "My Way".

Thank You Mom!!!! I enjoyed that so much!!! I also cried....more from my memories of playing the violin and my deep longing for being able to play it again. It is funny how as I get older I wish I had back some of my younger years so I could pay closer attention to things that I now find amazing....like History and yes even the Violin....I learned a lot about it but I didn't appreciate what practice could do for me and I didn't stick with it....I would give anything to play again I really do miss it A LOT!!!!!!!
I love violin music. Wanted to learn to play but we couldn't find a teacher willing to teach me; same with the piano. Managed to get lessons with the recorder and cornet, but I wasn't very good and quit them (asthma and wind instruments don't go together well, and having my brothers tease me to the point of tears whenever I tried to practice at home didn't help).
*BRAVO* I always enjoy listening to this artist and his orchestra.
