Rosie Elf (not to be confused with Elf on the shelf)

Today I am thankful for the creative grandchild who made me smile today.

This little guy hung on our very first Christmas Tree 43 years ago.  Because of his her length, she often had the task of filling in the gaps of our often sometimes scraggly cedar trees.  While taking down decorations this morning I noticed a little love had been added to our un-named elf.  Sometime during the season she was given a boquet of roses.  Seeing that brightened my day.  The sun is shining - a very good thing after the torrential rains we had last week - and I am smiling.  Thank you grandchild of the roses - whichever one you are.

How cute :) It would be neat to be able to say thank you to the grandchild who brought you a bit of happiness :)

Awww...

The weird weather has meant that the roses have bloomed, along with the cherry trees, again here - the flowers much be really confused.
