Dear Mr:
We have received notice that your premium was returned by the bank for the following reason: Deceased. Therefore, your policy has been removed from bank withdrawal and placed on direct bill.
Should I respond back and asked them where exactly they plan on sending that bill - that I'd like to post a letter or two?

I just stumbled across your blog from Yaya's blog and I wanted to say I'm sorry. :-( Insurance companies are not cool.
I'm going to check out your blog. I always love finding a new blog friend. :-D My husband and I just started the adoption process and I'm blogging over at:
www.life-according-to-leah.blogspot.com if you ever want to check me out. :-D

Mr..
c/o God
Heaven
Because we know where you're dad lives :-)
and to leave you alone...you've went through a lot when he was sick and you sure don't need hassles now that he has gone to God.
*hugssssssssssssss*
You have GOT to be kidding!?
Unreal. I would most definitely respond back!
And , so sorry about your Dad.
Dittos what Karla said.
Of course, I might sprinkle in a choice 4-letter word or three in the response.
...and of course, the person will blame the computer saying "the computer made the mistake."
Hugs-
If you do respond back, I'd like to know what their answer was to that letter of yours. Wow...what incompetence. Someone sure messed up.
*hugs*
yeah, what Karla and iggy said. Friggin idjits.
I'm going to go against the grain and say call them up, and very politely advise them that there is no need to bill your father for an insurance policy, and explain why. Yes, it is very possible that it's the computer's fault, and I wouldn't go getting nasty with them until AFTER you call and explain. Then if it continues, then you get nasty. HUGS
*Shakes head in disbelief*
I expect it's just an automatic response the computer is set up to give. But you'd think really that they'd make sure something like that didn't happen. You've gone through enough without having to deal with idiotic things like this.
Chicagolady takes all the fun out of it. It amazes me on a daily basis how inconsiderate and imcompetent people are these days. True that the letter could have been computer generated, but still, it isn't acceptable. And I like how your daughter said that you have a way with words. LOL I wonder what words those would be.
There is no shortage of stupid. Sadly.
Hugs and I hope it didn't upset you.
