They tolerate me

Group photos of my grandkids is my thing.  It just makes my heart sing to see all of their smiling faces in one place.  It is as simple as pie to get them all looking at the camera without blinking, rolling their eyes, frowning, or making a face.  It is easy I tell you!  Yea, right.  The below photo is my treasure.  My step grandson wasn't with us this year, but he is there in my heart.

Back row:  Travis, Reagan, Emily, Cara
Front row:  Allen, Anna, James, Austin, Dakota

Bloopers are not just for the movies.  Below are two collages that I dub "out takes".  The funny thiing is, out of the 20 or so photos I took, the first one was the best.  Lesson learned.

Easter Photo Shoot - Out-take 2

I love each and every one of those faces - sneers, bug eyes, fake grins, eye rolls and all.  Priceless.

beautiful table setting, HOWEVER, gorgeous girls and handsome boys, each with their own wonderful smile and talents and love that they bring to their family and to their grands!! Truly a blessing each one of them!! And I bet if you didn't do a picture like this, they would miss it and ask for it! It is tradition, a wonderful one indeed!!

Your table setting and your Grandkids are beautiful! I can't believe I didn't see any bunny ears on those kids. Shows how well behaved they are.

This is so sweet. Looking at these pics and reading you post, I remember when my grandma was alive and we used to celebrate every Christmas together...

Hey, at least you could keep them in one spot long enough to try the 20 shots; even if you should have just gone with the first one and left it at that. ;)

It's lovely that you can get all (or most) of the grandkids together for photos like this.

You did do well! That's quite the ensemble to get sitting still, facing the same direction and smiling in unison. Great shot!
