Fallball

I will preface this post with:  I am not a sports fan.
But somehow when my grandchildren are part of the sport, I become a sports fan.
I become a yelling, crazy lady.

Football and Fall in Jefferson City, MO are synonymous.
Grandson, Travis, plays for the Jefferson City Jays Freshman team

He is number 60
He is awesome
The team is awesome

They won again last night.... 54 to 6.  Yep, that is definitely a win.

So I'll leave you with some football pictures.
I'm embarassed to admit that I don't even know who they were playing.
But I know who number 60 is!

Looks like they played West Junior High... I'm glad the school my girls went to (South Callaway) didn't have football when they were attending...and I don't think the one grandson will play...so I am out of football, but I miss going to the basketball games...

I am a football fan when I know someone that's playing. I sooo understand your fanfare these days. My grandsons are 9 and 10 and wore their jersies to school today because they play on Saturday. They are our "Boys of Fall", right?

WTG to your grandon's team!! Quite a big scoring game I do believe!! Wishing them a winning safe, no injury season!! I'm sure it feels you with joy to see #60 and all your grands playing whatever sports they do!

I love football. I would say it's probably my favorite sport to watch, although I love a lot of different sports. :)

Congratulations to Travis and the entire Jefferson City Jays football team. That's a great score. (great pics, too!)

Nothing makes a sport more interesting and enjoyable than when you personally know someone playing. Congrats to the Jefferson Jays and to number 60 for their big win this week!

As long as you know who number 60 is, then that's all that matters! :)

And did you notice the score adds up to 60?

:)

Your grandkid has good form - he actually LOOKS like a real good player just from his stance and what not.
