Yes I did

I took time time to sit on the screened- in back porch to enjoy the peaceful rain we are blessed with today.
Soup,  rain and a good book on my Nook (The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest by Stieg Larsson).  What a lovely combination.

Rain soaked Oak trees.  Are they really calling for temperatures to drop into the 30's tonight?

From the inside looking out.  My plants are soon going to have to find a home inside.  I could sit here all day.  What did I do with that sweater of mine?  I need it!

I'll join you on that porch. I'll bring my book and an Irish coffee.

I had customers telling ,e all day how cold it was outside. They did not lie. My hummingbirds are insane today! I filled the feeder this morning and it is almost empty. We have the rain too. I am wearing a sweater.

I had soup today too. It was just that kind of a day. I can't believe we'll be turning the heat on soon, when we JUST had the air on.

How lovely to spend a day enjoying the cooler temperatures from the security of a screened-in porch. I'm not looking forward to turning my heat on, so you can keep those 30's for a few more weeks. LOL

Your pictures look peaceful and relaxing. Did you find your sweater?

We're supposed to get colder weather, too, and we certainly don't want it around here. There are too many people are without homes or without furnaces because of the flooding we've had. :\

Oh what a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! A nook-book on the porch on a rainy day--ahhh! Being in the 20s at night the past couple nights has been a bit of a shock. Save those plants! LOL!

You really do live is such a sweet spot! Love all the greenery and trees! Looks wonderful! Hope you have a great weekend and get some more reading in. :)

Ahhh... so relaxing.

:)

Just a little itty bitty book light too... to light the pages of the book and not the whole porch would be perfection indeed.

I love the smell of wet oak leaves.
