Guess who came to visit us over the weekend... |
She brought her children along... |
For the most part they were very well behaved, although they did tend to help themselves to what little food was available.... much like my grandchildren :) |
Come on in little ones. Join the birdies and squirrels. |
They only stayed long enough to grab a bite to eat and let me snap a few memories |
Tori, we had a mama deer and her two babies come visit us over the weekend. They are just beautiful. The babies still have their spots. They almost walked down our brick sidewalk, they were so intent on grazing on what little green remains in our part of the country. They are struggling along with the rest of the wildlife and are welcome to whatever they can find.

Don't you feel sorry for the poor wildlife? I had a deer at the corn feeder this morning again.
WOW! What great photos!
Bambi!!
Great shots, Deanna. I do feel for the wildlife this summer. You know that food is scarce and so is water unless they have a pond nearby. We often see the deer at our pond and lately a blue heron has been searching for fish which shouldn't be too hard to find as I think the pond has dropped at least 5 feet!
Great shots! They were so close to you. :)
Beautiful pictures! I hope they got enough to eat while they were there.
Wow! Tat's amazing.. You are so lucky to live in such a place..
Great deer shots! I've been worried about deer here this summer. We have had rain the last month or so.
Oh, aren't they just beautiful! I agree with you...I'd be glad to share any green they can find to eat. They look a little thin, but they have a good mom and look healthy. :)
WoW, great shots of an exciting moment. the spotted babies are beautiful!!
Such awesome photos!!
I hope they found enough to eat for at least a little while.
