My Sunday Snapshots

Here is a glimpse of my world during this beautiful Fall.

Tree canopied Highway

Friday’s day trip along the tree canopied highways of Missouri

Missouri River

A stop at one of the many Missouri River accesses

Missouri River Bluff

The stark white nakedness of the river bluffs, topped with the bold colors of nature

Hillside of Fall colored trees

Pumpkin orange, russet reds, golden browns and rich greens of Fall

Vulture preying on road kill

  Road kill anyone?

Corn and bean fields in the shadows of rolling hills

Barn and hay

Farms dotting the way

Grape plants with farm silos in the distance

Grape vines framing silos of a distant farm

Bee on lavendar

Bees not only inhale the scent of lavender, like I do, but also the taste

Last rose of summer

A last valiant rose bloom

The woods at my house    Back home again to the view from my front porch

Great fall colors! As we have very little of that on the coast it's a real treat. Thanks for sharing.

The red trees are gorgeous. There aren't any quite that pretty in my area.

Loved these beautiful photos. You took some really great shots of your area. The one labeled "Road kill anyone?" was awesome. Timing is everything sometimes, isn't it?

Thanks for brightening a rather dismal day. :)

*hugs*

You take some phenomenal pictures!
I was noticing all the maple and their colors today in our cemetery. I really love the pic with the red and orange leaves!
I am actually loving fall so far this year- maybe the long, hot summer did me in.

Such wonderful pictures!! I'm very, very glad the memory chip thingy was in the camera!

I love that colorful shot of the red and orange trees on the hillside - the farm along the road and the happy snuffling doggies!

*Hugs* I hope you get some more great pictures - Alice Kay is right! timing is everything!

It's nice to be out this time of year. I'm glad you have some wonderful scenery to enjoy, and to encourage you to not shut yourself in for the Winter just yet. :)

Beautiful in your bit of country Deanna! Time to sit up at Summit Lake and do some sippin' before it is all gone!

Your photos are just beautiful, Deanna! I especially love the one of the reds/oranges on the side of the hill. Mind sharing where this is?

I haven't been able to get out yet to see much color, just locally and it's not that special this year. The rains we're having tonight will probably make a lot of the leaves fall now.

Have a good week,
Cheryl
