This is my new double wedding ring quilt, purchased at The Quilt Shop in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Looking at this picture, I’m thinking I need new carpet and a different color paint on the walls. Shhhh let it be our secret that I am thinking along these lines. Don’t tell Jim!

Oh that is lovely! I wouldn't be able to actually sleep under it.
Poor Jim, he's gonna be busy redoing the carpet, painting the walls, and refinishing the furniture (what, you didn't think about that?!) and figuring out a way to keep Bailey hairs off of the quilt. I guess he's booked until about next October or so hmmmm? :)
Beautiful! What color walls and carpet?
Such a beautiful quilt! I'm thinking there must be something with being natives of Kentucky and quilting since hubby has an aunt who lived in Kentucky all her life and made quilts of similar quality. I'm sure it is so comfy and warm to sleep under!
I like your carpet and walls, I think I like it all because there is no clutter involved :)
enjoy tomorrow!
betty
I am so jealous! that is beautiful! the double wedding ring is one quilt I will probably never make. I'm not a hand piecier.
Have a great sunday!
Beautiful! And handmade with love, it looks like. It's a treasure. I know I'd be thinking the same thing....carpet...walls....but it actually looks just fine as it is. Thanks for showing us your find! :)
It is beautiful quilt Deanna! Painting? I can't/won't think about painting for quite some time :) I think your bedroom looks very pretty and I bet there is a beautiful view from that deck! Enjoy your Sunday Deanna and tie everthing down, the wind is going to howl!
Beautiful quilt, and it looks perfect on your bed. New carpet and paint? Hmm...what you have there now looks great to me. :)
Thanks for sharing your photos and have a great day!
Sounds like fantastic quilts are made there!
I promise not to tell Jim how you're thinking about new carpets and new paint. LOL!
Iggy, Jim reads my blog, so I guess the cat is out of the bag. I'm sure he will send you great thanks for putting furniture refinishing in my brain. Bailey gets nowhere near that room - he is strictly an outside cat and seems very happy about it.
Vicki, if I knew what colors, I'd probably have already painted by now. Maybe the quilt will be my "inspiration piece" as they say in all of those decorating shows.
Thanks Betty. Jim will appreciate every bit of encouragement given me to leave the room as is. That quilt is the perfect weight for sleeping under.
Patti, I have dreams of piecing togeher a flower garden quilt. It's beginning to seem less likely that I'll ever do it as the years pass.
Rita, thanks! I need all of the encouragement I can get to leave things alone.
LOL Tori, thanks for keeping my secret ;0
That is one beautiful quilt, Deanna. The double wedding ring is one of my favorites...I love quilts. I think your wall color looks fine with your quilt. It's a pretty room.
Looks good mom! You know how you told us once to start putting our name on things..... Just kidding!
OH MY GOSH, that is just so very beautiful and the colors are just breathtaking and it looks wonderful on your bed in your room. I am so so jealous lol
