My strawberry patch kind of got away from me this year. No excuses – it just did. So I was determined to fix that the other morning. Look at the clover taking over things! And the strawberry almost red enough to eat looks so tasty. Yum! Wait… Do you notice anything else?
I was pulling the weeds like a good gardener should when I shrieked like a girl (wait, I am a girl, so that is ok…). Jim came running, like the knight in shining armor that he is (even if he doesn’t have any hair, but that isn’t a bad thing)! By then I had my camera out and was snapping pictures. Do you see what was snuggling up with my strawberry?
Do you see him now? Isn’t he cute? And before Iggy asks, no I did not check to make sure he is in fact a he. I’ll just go with my gut on this one :)

Oh my goodness! That camouflage did what it was supposed to as I didn't see it right off the bat. Very nice picture!
I spotted him! Great find! If you want him to be a "he", then he can be a "he". Just like all the groundhogs are Mr.'s. LOL

well if it had been a bull frog..you could of had frog legs for supper...How you suppose to tell the difference anyway? Ask them...CROAK is a male and croak is a girl maybe? LOL
Some frogs can change their sex. They not a sexual. It sure is cute. But I would of screamed to. LOL
I saw it LOL man the boys would have chased that poor guy all over you house trying to catch it. They sure would have been tired though. They reallylike to chase the small frogs.

I was thinking snake? where is that snake? when it turned out to be a harmless little ol' frog. Styxie is right, that camouflage really worked!
Yep Styxie that is why the poor little thing scared me so bad - I had my hand almost on him before I realized he was there.

Come on wifey, you know I live in the middle of acres of woods - right? It is nothing to see deer and turkey when I look out my window and I've almost stepped on many a snake.
Hehehe Karla the lesson I learned about frog legs is be sure to cut the tendens or they will keep jumping when you put them in the hot oil! Yikes!

LOL Iggy I was careful NOT to kiss it - one prince around this house is quite enough! And if it had been a snake... well, let's just say there probably would not have been a picture because I would have been running screaming. I HATE snakes!
OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH Iggy i have a story about a snake for you I will have to post it sometime or mom can just fess up LOL it is hillarious!!!!!!! But I have to admit she had every reason to freak out on this on. LOL got you hooked yet? Well keep an eye on my blog I will blog about that day one day soon unless my mother kills me first LOL.
Jebus, I thought it was gonna be a snake, and I DONT do snakes.... I love frogs and toads though :).. and I love making 'Toad-in-The-Hole' with fresh ones :)

When we had the little chat meet at Jopetes house ,there was a snake crossing joes driveway one day,me and cubbs noticed it just as we were going to leave. I was telling joe about it the next day, lol he called me an asshole cause he hated snakes..lol I saw the frog in the picture , but i had to look for HIM..
Oh my gosh. I totally could not see him until the second pic. He is cute.
