Holding my breath didn't help

I got on the scale a bit ago.
I didn't like what I saw.
I realized I was holding my breath.
I started breathing.
I still didn't like what I saw. Sooooo in case you were wondering...
I want you to know.... Holding my breath didn't help.
I still weighed the same.

I've been watching the relief for Haiti special. Tears are flowing freely. It is all so sad. Such a tragedy. Our church is taking up a special collection for Haiti Sunday. I plan on giving.

How about you? Help this country if you can.

Being sick wore me out and I went to bed early. I really needed the sleep!! It is really sad, especially now because they are still fighting over everything, including the aid.

Nope, it doesn't help.

You can add the weight of the air that you were holding in. Should be good for about 5 pounds. lol

Holding my breath while standing on the scales never helped me either. :\

Yes, it is sad. Haiti was in bad shape before the earthquake hit, and now there is even more destruction and chaos. I read on a news site earlier that they've stopped searching for survivors now. :(

I hope everyone who can will donate to help this country out. I already have.

funny how things go togather. lol i brought home a set of scales today from the standish transfer station( the Dump) and when my wife got on them we both took a deep breath .lmao

They should have sent in the doctors and the assetment teams first in Haiti and then the guards and then food and water..

Ugh. A spammer comment.

Many impoverished people live close to the ragged edge of disaster in many places in the world today.

I'm sure there is a lot of stuff to go around - but perhaps its time to think about figuring out a way for there to be fewer people?

9 million people in Haiti today - there were only 6 million in 1989 - half the people there are under the age of 21 (or 25 I forget which number I heard)... and I'm not sure what these youngsters have to look forward to - a national goal - a global goal for people might be helpful - I just don't know what it ought to be.

There's an article on my friend who is in the middle of battling to get her adopted children from Haiti who are now in Florida. It's heartbreaking:
