Most of you reading this are dealing with the cold of winter the same as me. How to deal with it…
My plan when I got off work tonight was to exercise at the local gym and then head home. It was a bone chilling cold out. I skipped the gym and headed home. Then I realized I had nothing planned for supper. What to do, what to do.
What to do is clean out the fridge and freezer! Chicken noodle soup was calling my name.
So I defrosted some chicken breast and checked out the crisper. Oh yea. I’m in business.
I absolutely love soup. And I’m big on the veggies, especially onion. Yum!
So is this my bowl of soup or Jim’s? Why??????
Stay warm friends. They are talking snow and then sub zero temperatures here. I do believe I’m going to put another log on the fire.

It sure is cold in the Midwest. I can't believe I'm saying this, but right now, I'm glad I don't live in Iowa.

If Jim is left handed, then it is his bowl of soup. The spoon is on the left side of the bowl. If not, then it's yours.

That soup looks delicious! It is FREEZING in MN right now. On my way to work today, I was listening to Minnesota Public Radio, and they said this weekend we are going to have a deep freeze. I'm sorry. . . what do they think we're already in. I can't imagine it getting colder! BRRRRRRR.
I wouldn't mind having a bowl of that soup right about now. Looks really good.
We have another dusting of snow out there this morning and my car is covered with the white stuff...again. Flurries are still in the air, too. We're supposed to get another 3 inches of snow on Friday. (i hate cold and winter these days) Poor Terri has to work in this stuff all day long.
Keep the soup simmering and stay warm.
That looks scrumptious!! I love soups, too--and homemade are the best. Just for today (Weds-6th) we are having a heat wave in Fargo and have gone above zero! It is 7 degrees! Whoohoo! I think I should go make some soup...:)

We have so much snow here we can't get the cars out. We were meant to go shopping today... That's so not happening!
But yay for snow though! Mam, Willow, Kero and I (well, OK, Kero only briefly) have been having fun in the snow!
