Did I think today was over???? Think again...

Same day as yesterday's blog. Kinda emotional to say the least.
We got hay for the sheep. Square bales (which are hard to come by these days).
Jim got them when he got off work.. he had brought work clothes along so he could get them.. they got sprinkled on but were ok.
He brings them home and stacks them in the barn so that they will dry out.. good job Jim!
Mom and dad go home. Jim and I are sitting on the porch talking. Rain? Oh yea. Not rain.. thundersotrms!!!! Jim runs out to the barn. Damn! It is a pond inside the barn.. Hay is ruined other than feeding it to the sheep now.. Oh well. In the scheme of things it is just not important. Bring it on!

Well - yesterday is over now.

Today is a new one and things start anew.

*Hugs*

I hope today brings some sunshine and some easing to your worries.

My dad makes square bales, and when he tried to get the first field in last month, he had just a little bit more to bale up when the clouds let loose. It poured...for about five minutes. But it was enough rain to ruin good hay. It will most likely be used for bedding.

The farmers around here can't get hay in. Seems there have been one thunderstorm after another going thru. It's hard being a farmer. Most people have no idea what it's like.

I hope today will be a better day. *hugs*

I agree with what everyone has already said. Tomorrow is another day, so you have an opportunity for it to be better. The sun will come back out again, keep the faith.
