Lounge Lizards

We had our Fall Festival at Church this past weekend.

As I mentioned in my previous post (and yes Karla I know it is AGAIN 4 days lol), we provide music. This year, to kind of mix things up, Hubby, and best friend Patti, decided to do some Rat Pack music. They only had time to practice three times.

I just recently installed Nero and used it to edit the video. Everyone will agree that I have a lot to learn about Nero! The clip burps all along the way - my doings - just have to figure out what I did wrong. This video doesn't do them justice, but it is all I have.

vintage hat Patti is wearing belonged to my mother. We thought it would add some authenticity to the performance. And don't look at the mess on the stage - you must remember it had been used all day by a bunch of people, including kids.

Without further ado, I present to you the Lounge Lizards!

That was fun! Jim has a great voice. Thanks for posting the video for us. One question...when do we get to see you singing with him? :)

I LOVED IT!!!!! I love my dads voice!!! I sat there watching that video and I started crying because i miss listening to my dads voice throughout the house everyday. You would have to know my Dad to know how often the man sings. He would take one word you say and turn it into a whole song based on that one word lol. He is an amazing man with and amazing voice. If you all know my mom then you know that she plays a lot of instraments along with her voice so I think everyone needs to convince her to do a video to showcase all of her MANY talents. I think you all would be AMAZED by her to.

Dang it Julie you just made me tear up! Your dad does sing all the time, doesn't he. I guess I am so used to it that I don't think about it. But now that I think about it, I can usually find him in a store because he is either humming or whistling. Thanks hun. Love you.

Thanks for the share, I enjoyed it. :)

I'm sorry to say that Kero isn't quite so appreciative... He's now howling!

I thought Windows Vista had a movie editor built in...

Anywho... I remember hearing Punkn sing and play an instrument once during a special stream - memorializing Jopete. I remember that lovely lilting voice with the soft (and wonderful) "show me state" accent.

She is so durn modest...

She and Jim prolly sound way better than any of the Rat Pack... and just think, the Rat Pack did have female participants, including movie icons Shirley MacLaine, Lauren Bacall, Angie Dickinson, Marilyn Monroe, and Judy Garland.

Hmm, Judy Garland... Punkn... have you ever seen them at the same time? I don't think sooooooooo...

Tori, I'm glad at least one of you enjoyed it. We're going to have to edjumacate Kero on good music huh.

Iggy, you are right about Vista having its own editor. I should have just used it. I always seem to make things more difficult than it really is.
I had forgotten about the memorial stream (well, not the stream but about singing). Accent? Me? No way!!!!!

*moves on while singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"*

Your hubs has a WONDERFUL voice! Love it! My camera takes video, but I don't even know how to transfer to the internet, so you're a step ahead of me.

~nice voice!~ Neither spouse of mine NOR my father or brother could / can carry a tune to save their lives. Tone-deaf, every one of them. I'm not much better, so I shouldnt talk.
